I love making cupcakes for my kids, such a simple pleasure. What a great way to celebrate the arrival of Spring!! I made these using Dum-Dum pops and green Fruit Roll Ups for the leaves, a few sprinkles of chocolate jimmies for the dirt, and voila spring has sprung.

Sarah,
Those are beautiful cupcakes! I'm looking forward to being out of school so I can finally have a kitchen again (among other reasons). Did the boys tell you about going to the brook with Josh and me yesterday? It was really fun. I hope to see you all soon!

They look great and you are very creative!
Hi Sarah!
I am smelling the flowers and I'm loving it!
If you wont mind I'd love to guide Foodista readers to your post. Just add the foodista widget to the end of this post so it will appear in the Foodista pages and it's all set, Thanks!
These are the cutest cupcakes! My niece would absolutely adore something like this- she loves chocolate and lollipops (but what kid doesn't?!)
I'm sure your kids love the cupcakes! I remember once making peanut butter and jelly ice cream cones. I can't remember how I did it now (it was a long time ago) but it was better in theory than in reality:-)
